when i bought this laptop, the operating system was damaged, so i made a usb installation media to reinstall windows 10 which got it up and running. i used windows update to update drivers to try to fix the FPS drop during game and nothing helped, so i got the drivers from HP support and AMD support pages that were supposed to be most recent and used installers to install them. after looking in forums, someone mentioned an issue with Intel(R) Dynamic Platform & Thermal Framework telling the pc that it was hot and cutting back the cpu?? i dont know anything about it. but i checked the drivers and they are all up to date. computer doesnt run hot and works fine at all other times. movies dont bother it, just when i start the game. and i have uninstalled and reinstalled that with no luck. ive been running hp troubleshooters and diagnostics tools as well as amd radeon settings program for 3 days to try and figure it out but, of course they say everything has shown to be working fine. someone please tell me this is something easy to fix, or if it can be fixed, or put me on the right path, or at least offer words of encouragement. posting info below. Thank you for your time and any help you can give!
