Hi HP Team,
I am using HP DV6-1152TX laptop, recently I upgraded my laptop to windows 8.1 64 bit which was originally vista 32 bit.
Now what all the other things I should update or install, I am not finding relevant links for dv6-1152tx windows 8.1 64 bit to install or update it.
Do I need to update or install drivers and BIOS, as "I cannot see 64 bit option in my oracle virtual box and my touchpad is moving randomly".
Please reply soon. Please let me know if you need additional information, so that things are not further delayed. Hope my issue will be addreesed soon.
Thanks and Regards,
coolAtul

As mentioned in my PM reply sent this morning, this cannot be done.
It is not a limit of the BIOS, but of the CPU.
Intel explains it here: http://ark.intel.com/products/40479/Intel-Core2-Duo-Processor-T6400-2M-Cache-2_00-GHz-800-MHz-FSB
That CPU cannot do any Virtualization so what you are trying to do cannot be done. The hardware is too old.
The only option is to acquire a new machine that has Virtualization Technology.

In the BIOS, in the system configuration tab you can set virtualization to enabled. That should take care of the virtualizatio issue.
There no available drivers to update your notebook past Windows 7.
HP did not support your notebook for an update to Windows 8 or beyond.
You would actually find that the notebook operates better under Windows 7.
Updating the BIOS by use of the BIOS update softpaq files found in the Windows 7 driver download section may not be a very good idea.
Older notebooks like yours have been frequently known to fail and become non operational as a result of a BIOS update attempt. We see that reported pretty frequently in the forum.

Thanks a lot for your quick reply
I have downloaded and installed touchpad drivers for my dv6-1152tx windows 8 64 bit.
For virtualization I am not find the option in BIOS to enable it. Moreover, I hear/read that hp system doesnt support virtualization. But I dont want to believe this, HP must have found solution for virtualization. I checked many websites but havent found any solution for missing virtualization option in BIOS.
Please help here.

If the installed CPU supports it, the feature should be present.
What is the installed CPU?
