Can't setup Windows Hello Fingerprint option. When try, and I touch the fingerprint sensor, I get message that says "something went wrong" and to close Windows Hello and go through the setup again. Drivers are up to date. It worked initially when I bought the laptop 3 months ago, but for some reason when I signed in recently the option wasn't there and I've tried to set it up again and keep getting the "something went wrong " message

Hello @MagnusG,

Try this:

  1.  Open Device Manager
  2. Expand Biometric devices
  3. Right-click the Fingerprint Reader device
  4. Select Properties
  5. Navigate to the Power Management tab
  6. Uncheck Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power
  7. Select OK
  8. Retry setup

Let me know how it goes.
