During the last few months the screen on my Dragonfly G4 notebook has started intermittently flickering. It displays the screen content and images correctly, but seems to have an overlay of horizontal grey lines moving quickly up and down the screen, primarily in the top quarter of the display. This happens both with SureView turned off and on, although is more prominent when it is turned off.
I have ensured all drivers and software are up-to-date through the HP Support Assistant and Windows Updates.
There has been no physical damage or strain to the notebook, and all diagnostic tests pass when running the HP PC Hardware Diagnostics tool.
Any suggestions to resolve this would be really appreciated. Thanks.

For anyone else who may have encountered this or a similar screen flickering issue, I have now established that my specific issue was caused by a Windows 11 adaptive display setting. Toggling off the "Change brightness automatically when lighting changes" feature in System>Display Settings, resolved the flickering.
I had previously tried formatting and reinstalling Windows 11, but the issue persisted so I nearly gave up thinking it was a hardware fault. After adjusting various display settings, I finally landed on this one as the culprit. No more flickering lines.
