The font is so light I can barely read it without straining my eyes. Light gray font on a white background. Older computer I've had for a decade. Any suggestions? Thanks, Henry

Hi @RBucke,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If the font on your HP Pavilion Dv6t-7000 CTO Entertainment Notebook PC is light and hard to read, there are a few things you can try to improve the readability.
- Adjust the screen brightness: Sometimes, the screen brightness may be set too low, making it difficult to read the text. Try increasing the brightness using the function keys on your keyboard.
- Increase font size: If the font size is too small, it can be difficult to read. Try increasing the font size in your web browser or the application you are using.
- Change font style: Some fonts may be harder to read than others. Try changing the font style to a more legible font.
- Clean the screen: A dirty screen can make the text harder to read. Use a soft cloth to clean the screen and remove any smudges or fingerprints.
- Update graphics drivers: If the graphics drivers are outdated or corrupted, it can affect the display quality. Try updating the graphics drivers to see if it improves the readability.
- Check for display issues: If none of the above solutions work, there may be an issue with the display itself.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
