ENVY 13-ba0512sa
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello - I just started using brand new ENVY as above and some windows are fuzzy and the text is even missing? The desktop is clear and sharp but some programme windows come up fuzzy and with no text even? Is this a graphics driver issue? I have used Windows Update and the HP Support Facility. I note there is a new BIOS on the support page but many of the driver updates don't seem to work with my model. Any help appreciated!

@grimweasel

Thank you for posting on HP Support Community.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, this sounds like software driver related issue.

As you've new BIOS update available I would suggest updating the BIOS may fix the issue.

  • Note: before updating the BIOS software backup your personal files and data.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.

Hi thanks for the reply! I did the BIOS update but this made matters worse for some reason so I unrolled it using Windows Restore. Also, the HP support system is not showing the update only the HP website -for which I'm confused as for my exact model of Envy there seems to be 2 different types of every driver and its not clear which ones are for my machine?! Thanks
