I have a Victus laptop connected to a G5 docking hub (26D32AA). I have 2 monitor connected to the G5 and it’s working fine. However and sometimes, when I need to reboot my laptop (by pressing the power button on the G5) the laptop restarts but the G5 will not detect both my monitors. Only after I disconnect the USB-C cable from my laptop and reconnect it again will the G5 detect the monitors. It seems that this issue only happens intermittently and sometime the G5 will detect the monitors without issues. I have no idea why and anyone have a solution to this annoying issue?
My laptop is a HP Victus 16.1 (16-d1xxx) running Windows 11 Pro (24H2), 32GB DDR5 4800, and RTX3050 4GB. My monitor are Acer monitors 27” and 24”. The 27” connects to the G5 via HDMI cable and the 24” connects using a DP cable.
I have updated the latest firmware of both my G5 dock and my RTX3050 graphic card driver to the latest as well. There are no more updates for both devices so far. I have check the cables connecting to both monitors and they are in good condition. I have search the Internet for any kind of solutions and have yet not found any. My last resort is posting my not-so-urgent issue here.

They are NOT compatible that why. Your machine requires
150 W Smart AC power adapter OR
200 W Smart AC power adapter
The HP USB-C dock only supports 100W max.
Regards.

Hi! Thank you for the reply. My Victus laptop is actually plugged into the wall socket using its own 120w power adapter (comes with the laptop). I’m not using the G5 to power up my laptop. As far as incompatibility goes, both of my monitors are working fine once I disconnect and reconnect the G5 from the laptop via its USB-C. Am I missing something here?
