Just got this HP pavilion Gaming laptop.  How in the world does on get the computer to use the GTX 1650 Ti

GPU instead of the Ryzen processor built in SLOW video output.  This is supposed to be a gaming machine

I mean hey...broken from the factory?  what kind of Quality Control is that?  It should be set up AT the factory

to use the GTX 1650 Ti GPU,

Actually I found that "fix" on line shortly after I sent in the email to you at HP.  And yes it worked.  This should however, never

had been a problem in the first place.

To get the answer to this question, the switching of graphics adapter happens automatically. You might wanna try this - NVIDIA Control Panel>Manage 3D settings. From the drop-down list under Preferred graphics processor: you can choose either Auto-select, Nvidia, or AMD graphics solutions.

 

And, also run BIOS Update: Follow steps from the link: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c00042629
