why must i use generic pnp monitor driver from 2006, is there any way to update the monitor driver. both display adapters are up to date using 11/26/19 drivers on both intel hd graphics 630 and Nvidia Gtx 1050. Yes i have tried updating the drivers automatically. i still end up with generic driver from 2006. i cannot find any drivers for Chi Mei innolux 15d3 which is the hardware id MONITOR/CMN15d3

It is the screen itself, not the video card. Many notebooks/laptops use default screens and Windows uses video card(s) to display on default screens better.
Regards.

thank you for helping,
i realize it is the screen, it is making multiple monitor applications difficult as i cannot get neither windows or nvidia control panel to recognize the alternate display.
is there a work around?
