Pavilion ze2027ea
Microsoft Windows 7 (32-bit)

Hello experts,

How do i find graphics card drivers for the old laptop HP Pavilion ze2027ea for Windows 7 Professional 32 bit. I have searched all over the internet and did not find these drivers. The only drivers I found on the internet for the graphics card for this laptop are those for Windows XP, but these drivers do not work properly for Windows 7.

Can someone help me?

Thank you in advance.

Joni.

Hi Joni,

Check out the  following Windows Update Catalog web document.  There  is a selection of four drivers for the ATI Radeon Express 200m series graphics card for Windows 7 available there for download.

https://www.catalog.update.microsoft.com/Search.aspx?q=ATI%20RADEON%20XPRESS%20200M%20Series

I hope that this helps.

That is one ancient laptop!  The information on your laptop , since it is a retired product, has been removed from the HP website and servers. The only configuration information I could find was from an old review on the internet.

Thank you Erico for your fast reply.

Yes my laptop is very old but I like to bring it in "live" :-).

Link you have provided to me is for ATI Radeon, but I believe that my graphic card is Intel and not ATI (see the picture below). If I am wrong, please inform me.

I am waiting for your reply / solution.

Hi, @Op-Joni

Unfortunately, there are no W7 or even Windows Vista graphics drivers for the Intel graphics adapter your notebook comes with.

Your only option is to force install the XP graphics driver, and hope that it works.

Here's how you can do that...

First download and install this free file utility.  The 1st link at the top of the page is for 32 bit.

https://www.7-zip.org/

Then download and save, but do not run this XP Intel graphics driver.

https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/10099/-Intel-Graphics-Media-Accelerator-Driver-for-Windows...

After you save the graphics driver file, right click on it, and select 7-Zip from the list of items on the menu.

Have 7-Zip extract to: and let it extract the file into its folder name.

Once that is done, go to the device manager, click on the Standard VGA adapter listed in your screen shot.

Click on the driver tab.  Click on Update Driver.

Select the Browse my computer for driver software option, and then at the bottom of that window, select the Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer.

Click on Have Disk, and browse to the driver folder 7-Zip created>Win2000>ialmnt5 (setup information file), select the Intel(R) 82852/82855 GM/GME Graphics Controller from the list, and hopefully the driver will install.

Then restart the PC.
