Product: HP Pavilion g6-1201tx Notebook PC
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

Hello, My laptop came with an AMD Radeon 6470M but it is not detected in device manager nor being shown. Though it is shown as a hidden device in device manager. I want to use the dedicated gpu. Help is appreciated.

Hi, @anishanish did you recently upgrade to Windows 11, or did your laptop come pre-installed with Windows 11 when you bought it?

Hi, Yes i had recently upgraded my pc from windows 10 to windows 11. This notebook originally came with windows 7 home basic

I also tried installing windows 7 and tried to get the gpu running but that dint work .

See if installing Windows 10 will work. It is more stable and still has updates from Microsoft. Windows 7 has stopped receiving updates from Microsoft.

Yeah.. I've tried LInux distros, Windows 7,8.1,10 and 11. No luck 😞 also the bluetooth stopped working after a clean install
