So 2 weeks ago, my laptop is starting to have a green dots on the screen when I first turned it on. I thought the LCD is broken or something, but I bought this laptop 1 month ago. I was trying to boot into safe mode to see if its the GPU problem. But then in safe mode, the green dots is still there but its smaller than before. Then finally I booted into BIOS to saw the green dot whether it's still appearing or not. It's not. Finally I tried to reinstall the amd graphic driver and it worked. The green dot disappear. But then 1 week ago, the green dots have reappeared. I realize that after i play some games or watching youtube, the green dots will slowly fade and gone. Its not really disturbing but is there any fixes? Here's the picture of my laptop screen

If there are no green dots on the external monitor then it's a Hardware issue with the Notebook display

Welcome to HP Community
I have gone through your Post and would like to help
Since the issue does not appear in BIOS this seems to be a Driver issue
I suggest you download and run the HP Support Assistant from this Link: https://www8.hp.com/us/en/campaigns/hpsupportassistant/hpsupport.html?jumpid=va_r602_us/en/any/psg/p...
HPSA will automatically search for all the latest drivers for your Notebook
-
Click My devices in the top menu, and then click Updates in the My PC or My notebook pane.
-
Click Check for updates and messages to scan for new updates.
-
Review the list of updates. Updates with a yellow information icon are recommended. Updates with a blue information icon are optional.
-
Click the update name for a description, version number, and file size.
-
Select the box next to any updates you want to install, and then click Download and install.
Also ensure Windows is up to date.
Select the Start button, and then go to Settings > Update & security > Windows Update , and select Check for updates. If Windows Update says your device is up to date, you have all the updates that are currently available
Keep me posted how it goes
Thank you and have a wonderful day 😊

Let's try reinstalling the Graphics Driver from Device Manager
- Select the Start button, type Device Manager, and select it from the list of results.
- Look for Display Adapters and expand the List
- Look for Graphics driver then right-click it, and select Update Driver.
- Select Search automatically for updated driver software.
- If these steps don't work, try reinstalling the driver: Open Device Manager, right-click the Graphics driver and select Uninstall. Restart your PC and Windows will attempt to reinstall the driver.

I've tried uninstalling and reinstall the graphic drivers and it didn't work. Also i forgot to mention that the green dot only visible on grey or light black color. Also, I just realized that in BIOS, there's no grey or light black color. Only light blue and white. So I'm not sure if the green dot appears on BIOS or not.

Any chance you can connect the Laptop to an external monitor or tv to check if the issue persists on the external monitor?
This will determine if it's a Software or Hardware issue
