Product: HP Pavilion Plus 14 inch Laptop PC 14-ew1000 (7X846AV)
I have a brand new HP laptop (14-ew1008ca) that comes with Intel Arc Graphics and a HDMI 2.1 port.
When I connect my laptop to a 4K TV (Philips 50PUL7973/F7) that supports 4K UHD 4096 x 2160 @60Hz via HDMI using a 48GBPS ultra high speed HDMI cable (1.5 M long), the screen flickers randomly at both 4K @30Hz and 4K @60Hz.
If I connect the same TV using another HDMI 1.4b input, the screen does not flicker at 4K @30Hz and the screen looks perfect.
I have all drivers and bios updated (as of today Aug 19, 2024):
System BIOS: F.08
Intel(R) Arc(TM) Graphics driver: 32.0.101.5971 (8/16/2024)
Windows 11 Home version 23H2
I have a video recording of this issue for your review HERE
Please investigate and let me know if this can be fixed.
Thank you.
