Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hey there, I have connected TV with my laptop using an HDMI cable (New Cable). After connecting cable on both ends, I can see the HDMI option enable in TV and I opened that screen as well. But in my HP Notebook, TV screen is not detecting so  I tried manually to detect screen from Display setting & HP support assistant app but not working. I also tried duplicate & Extend screen option but didn't work. I also tried to update and reinstall relative drivers but still not working. Can you help me to find a solution or what am I missing to check here??

@Nik29

IF you're going into Display Settings and only seeing the laptop display, there is nothing you can do -- as Windows has to see the other display in order for you to use it.

IF you do see two displays, and it sounds like you do, click the option to Identify the displays to confirm which of the two screens in the settings is the laptop screen.

If you see two screens and have a choice between Duplicate and Extend -- then the issue is most likely with the TV, as Windows is seeing both displays properly.

Thanks, WAWood for the reply. I have read your reply and checked Display Settings but I don't see any laptop screen. In "Advance setting screen" and "Graphic control panel", I can see Display 1 (laptop display). I have uploaded screenshots of the Display Settings & Graphic control panel. Please, Can you check it? and let me know if it is same as you said in solution or I can do anything else to solve it.

Note - I have taken all screenshot while HDMI cable was connected and same option selected on TV

@WAWood

Thanks for your reply. As you stated in your solution, I am not seeing any Display screen in settings. When I opened "Advanced Display settings" only there Laptop screen details & Dropdown option was available. Later, I click on "Detect" in multiple display settings but it showed "Didn't detect another display".

Please let me know if it is same as you said in solution (first solution) or I can do anything else.
