Hello,
I have an issue getting my laptop to connect with the TV. A little description:
1) The LG TV recognizes a cable plugged in but displays No Signal
2) My laptop does not recognize a second display.
3) I have the very first model of the Spectre 13t with only three USB-C ports
4) My laptop is charged on another port which fails every now and then, the other third port is almost dead
5) Water has entered my laptop before and I am only able to send/receive data on the port closest to the edge of the laptop only (this is where I have my dongle plugged in)
5) I have my wireless mouse, Bluetooth dongle and LAN adapter all plugged in to the dongle)
6) But for some reason, the HDMI plugged into the dongle does not work. I bought a new dongle recently and it still doesn't work
I have been trying to figure it out, is it incompatibility or my ports are simply dead? If so how come my Bluetooth and mouse work, also the new dongle carries 60W power.
What could be wrong here? Thanks

Thank you for posting on HP Support Community.
Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, I understand your notebook isn't connecting to your monitor via the HDMI cable, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:
- What is the exact product number of your product? Use this link to find it: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c03754824
- Did you check with an alternate HDMI cable or another monitor to check if the issue is within the notebook?
- When was the last time it worked without these issues? Have you attempted a system restore?
In the meantime, please try the steps mentioned on this link: Click here
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.

Hello,
My product number is T9Y18AV
The HDMI cord works fine, I've tried it on another laptop hooked to the same monitor, and it worked perfectly
I have actually never tried to connect it via HDMI since I've owned it. Never had the HDMI dongle to connect until recently.
I have also tried the BIOS Update and tried to open the NVIDIA control panel but it says "A NVIDIA graphics card was not detected...."
Still, the laptop does not detect the HDMI cable
