Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

Hello, HDMI stopped working for me after I reinstalled Windows. I tried to connect the laptop to a TV and a monitor (with different HDMI cables), in response, both flashed green and the signal disappeared (meaning the monitor went into sleep mode, and the TV did not show anything). The driver is all the latest version, Windows sees the monitor and TV.

@15-ac003ur

Did you use HP media to reinstall Windows? NO?

Did you at least save off the HP drivers before you forced the reinstall so you could get the drivers back? NO?

Almost certainly, the issue is because you only installed drivers from Microsoft, not HP, and with a laptop, you need the HP drivers for all the devices to work properly.

So basically, you will need to use the link below to download and reinstall the HP drivers.  I have no idea which ones specifically apply to your model, so you will basically have to try them all -- and no, there is no way to download them all at once:

I forgot to say, the hard drive was replaced with an SSD. I hope that the method of reinstalling the drivers will help.

I reinstalled the drivers that at least somehow related to HDMI, but still the same problem
