My keyboard, touchscreen and touch pad stopped working. After extensive research on the issue, I managed to work out Keyboard and Touch pad by disabling intel integrated sensor in device manager but Touch screen is not working. I followed the advice from the HP Forum regarding the issue. My computer is completely updated and I have run the HP Diagnostic Tool. I uninstalled the hid-compliant touch screen driver (which was hidden in Device Manager), and restarted the computer. The driver never reinstalled. and is completely gone. Now the ELAN EzTouchFilter says "This device cannot start. (Code 10). A request for the HID descriptor failed". Where can I download the driver? I am very frustrated. Please help.

Thank you for your reply.
As in my previous post, I have an HP Envy x360 Convertible laptop 15-cn0xxx, product number 4HH53UA#ABA with Windows 10 Home 64-bit. This information comes directly from the HP Support Assistant. Please help me find this missing driver so I can reinstall it. I am unable to use the touchscreen.

Thank you for the update.
I suggest you download and run the HP Support Assistant from this Link: HP Support Assistant
HPSA will automatically search for all the latest drivers for your Notebook
- Click My devices in the top menu, and then click Updates in the My PC or My notebook pane.
- Click Check for updates and messages to scan for new updates.
- Review the list of updates. Updates with a yellow information icon are recommended. Updates with a blue information icon are optional.
- Click the update name for a description, version number, and file size.
- Select the box next to any updates you want to install, and then click Download and install.
Also ensure Windows is up to date
Select the Start button, and then go to Settings > Update & security > Windows Update , and select Check for updates. If Windows Update says your device is up to date, you have all the updates that are currently available
Have a nice day!!

Thank you. I have completed all of your suggested steps prior to sending my support request. I did it one more time since you suggested it and the HID-compliant touch screen driver is still missing. All the HP and Window updates are up-to-date and I do not have any operating system issues. My computer is completely up-to-date. The touch screen driver is still missing. Can you please just tell me where to download the driver? HPSA is not finding an issue and I am tired of going in circles. I find it odd that it is so hard to find and download this driver. Please help!!
Thank you.

I understand your concerns.
The drivers are not available on the HP website.
Please update the Chipset drivers and update the BIOS.
Please click the below link to download the drivers.
If the issue still persists, perform the system reset.
Have a nice day!!
