Hi @PVSR12,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your laptop!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
Try these steps:
- Charge the Pen:
- Place the pen on the magnetic pen attachment and charger area on your HP Spectre x360.
- Ensure the LED indicator shows the charging status. Blinking amber indicates low battery, static amber indicates charging, and off indicates fully charged.
Pairing the Pen
- Connecting the Pen:
- Some pens do not require pairing as they are automatically recognized by compatible devices. Simply ensure the pen is charged and it should work immediately.
- If manual pairing is required, ensure Bluetooth is activated on your laptop and follow the specific instructions for pairing from the user manual or HP support website.
Using the Pen
Using the Pen for Writing and Drawing:
- Open an application that supports pen input (such as Microsoft OneNote, Adobe Photoshop, or other drawing and note-taking apps).
- Use the pen directly on the touch screen to write, draw, or navigate.
Button Functions:
- Many pens come with customizable buttons. These can be configured for various functions such as right-click, erase, or specific shortcuts. Refer to the HP Pen Control software to customize your pen buttons.
Pen Features
- Utilize Advanced Features:
- Pressure Sensitivity: This feature allows for varying line thickness based on the pressure applied, ideal for artists and detailed work.
- Tilt and Hover: Some models support tilt functionality for shading and hover for cursor movement without touching the screen.
I hope this helps.
