Hi
My daughter has an HP 14-bs057sa and in the last few days the touchpad buttons have stopped working. The touchpad works as far as moving the curser around the screen but neither the buttons or tapping the pad works to select anything. I have updated the drivers, rolled back the drivers, uninstalled and re installed the touchpad. Nothing seems to work.
The operating system is Windows 10. I am a bit of a novice at this sort of thing so I'm hoping it's a simple fix.
Thanks in advance
Paul

Welcome to HP Forums,
This is a great place to get support, find answers and tips,
Thank you for posting your query, I'll be more than glad to help you out 🙂
I see that the touchpad buttons stopped working. I appreciate your efforts to try and resolve the issue. If the touchpad driver is outdated or corrupt, the touchpad will stop working.
The best way to resolve the issue is by using the HP Guided Troubleshooter: Click here
Also, we can try this step:
Tap away at the ESC key as you start the notebook to launch the Start-up Menu and then select f10 to enter the bios menu. Press f9 to load the defaults, use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and hit enter. Press f10 to save the setting and again use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and hit enter.
Let windows fully load for a few minutes before checking the touchpad function.
Keep me posted for further assistance!
