I purchased the following last year:
- HP 14 inch Laptop PC 14-em0000 (72X28AV) Product number: 800Q3EA#ABU Serial number: 5CG3151TSR
- HP Universal USB-C Multiport Hub Product number: 50H98AA Serial number: 1CP2445X7R
I have only just got around to setting up the hub as I've only just got around to purchasing a screen. Once the hub and screen were plugged in, I initially tested using my wife's work macbook pro, and everything worked great. It charged via the usb -c, wireless keyboard & mouse worked, an the monitor fired up and was working great, as it all should.
I then tried plugging my HP laptop in, and cannot get it to charge, or show the screen/monitor (mouse and keyboard connected to hub work ok). I've tried reinstalling drivers, re-boots, windows updates etc. I get a message when I plug in saying "display connection might be limited, make sure the DisplayPort you are connecting to is supported by your PC."
Anyone else had similar issues? I assumed that as the laptop was relatively new, it would support the dock/hub I bought with it?
