Computer on auto update, there is a faint, clear box with white outlines on lower left screen. The pointer will not work in this spot. I attached a manual mouse and same issue, so it' not the pointer. I got into HP diagnostics and did a full scan and the box went away for a few days but not it's back again. Anyone else have this problem? Any way to fix it for good?

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.
Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:
- Did you make any changes to the settings of your PC prior to the issue?
- Have you updated Graphics and Chipset drivers?
- Have you checked the display on an external monitor?
Let’s try these steps to resolve the problem:
I recommend you attempt to access the BIOS screen by tapping on F10 while the computer is restarting,
If the issue persists in the BIOS screen which is outside windows, it would confirm a hardware failure.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
