My computers touch screen is no longer working after updating. It previously worked but seems to have stopped. I haven't found any solutions yet for this. The screen itself is fine though.

Hi @JennyYYY,
Thank you for the update. I hope you had a good weekend! Did you try all the steps listed under "Screen does not respond to touch or responds intermittently" Is the touchscreen listed in Device Manager"? If it was not listed in the components list try scanning for the hardware, On startup press the F10 key repeatedly to enter the BIOS. Along the bottom, you should see the option for defaults. Please select it. This will have it scan for the attached hardware. Have you run the HP Support Assistant? You could also do a restore back to before the update. @Sparkles1
Thank you for your response, I did normal update, and the link didn't quite help. It all involved finding, or testing something with a touch screen label/button. When going through the options myself, I wasn't able to find anything in my computers system with at "touch screen" label. Ex: "Perform a touch screen diagnostic test" I was able to lead up to clicking componet test, but there was no touch screen button in the list of testing options.

Hi @Sparkles1,
Thank you for your amazing assistants, I didn't quite reach back to the forms, but my device has seemed to resolve the problem its self. Yesterday it did a ramdom automatic restart, and the touchscreen started working again. Thanks you for trying to help me with this problem though, I really appreciate it. Have a lovely day!
