I want to use two external monitors with my laptop. I can connect one monitor via the HDMI port as an closed but can't seem to get the second monitor to work. I tied using a USB-C to HDMI adaptor as suggested in another post but am not able to get it to work. My son looked into it and said the USB-C port does not support a display. I'm guessing he's wrong but am wondering if there are some steps or specific process I skipped/missed

It ONLY has 1 USB Type-C® 5Gbps signaling rate (supports data transfer only and does not support charging or external monitors) port which does NOT support Alt mode nor Power Delivery. You can NOT use it to
- Charge your machine,
- Connect to an external monitor with/without hub/dock/adapter (some hubs may have builtin chip to support this)
If you wish to connect 2 external monitors (only), you can use
- Monitor 1: HDMI direct cable,
- Monitor 2: Using a Displaylink Certified USB-A to HDMI adapter such as
