HP 250 G8

Hi,

I've connected my DELL U2413 external monitor via HDMI to ATEN 2-PORT USB HDMI KVM SWITCH.

I've connected two laptops to the KVM switch, HP 250 G8 and Lenovo LEgion 5.

If I switch to Lenovo, I can use the 1920x1200 resolution of the monitor.

If I switch to HP 250 G8 I can set only 1920x1080 resolution, so there are a black "margins" at the topo and bottom.

The admin has installed the DELL driver and Dell Display Manager Application, but the app shows an error message:

"This program cannot communicate with any supported Dell monitors. Check your display driver, cables and connections"

Connection is OK,  I see the extended screen on the monitor, driver was installed.

Without the KVM switch the HP knows the 1920x1200, so I guess the problem is with the KVM switch but I dont understand why if Lenovo can works with it?

Thanks for help

I had to update the firmware on the KVM switch, this was solved the problem.
