Trying to see if this laptop ive been given for work has keyboard light?

Does your machine have a F* key with backlit symbol banhien_0-1718510010457.jpeg ?

 

  • If NO, it does not have a backlit keyboard.
  • If YES, please use the following Guide

The answer is "Maybe".

 

You will need to know the product model name so you can look up the information in the Product Home in Category Setup & User Guides >> open and read first chapter of the user manual or service guide

OR

Simply check on the top row of keys on the keyboard for the backlit keyboard icon.

The icon is usually located on either the F5 or the F9 key.

Blank key (no icon) = No backlit keyboard

 

Random examples illustrate where on the keyboard to look for the backlit keyboard icon...
