Hello everyone,

I have an HP 255 G7 whose NVMe I have formatted, I want to install Windows 10 on a bootable USB.
The installation starts, but the NVMe is not recognized, so I can start the installation dsi.
I made a number of settings in the BIOS, nothing helped, what can be the reason for this?

thanks in advance

Hi:

Only the 255 G7's with the AMD Ryzen processors support NVMe SSD's.

Notebooks with the AMD 'A' series processors only support M.2 SATA SSD's.

If your notebook has an AMD Ryzen processor and it originally came with W10 from HP, see if using the media creation tool to make a bootable USB recovery drive works.

Here is an info link for how to use the utility.  You will need a 32 GB USB flash drive for this.
