Product: HP 2710m 27-inch Diagonal LCD Monitor
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

I have purchased a Windows 11 laptop but cannot connect it to my HP 2710M monitor via HDMI. HP supports states no drivers are available after Windows 8, but I was able to connect to my old Windows 10 laptop.

I don't understand why your monitor doesn't work on W11.

 

They usually don't need any drivers.

 

W11 installs a generic monitor driver.

 

I have an old dell monitor from 2004 and my W11 PC connects to that monitor just fine.

 

You should be able to install the W7 driver if necessary.  That was the latest driver available for your monitor.
