Hi

I have an HP 8000 Elite SFF PC my power supply is 240 watts can anyone recommend a compatible graphics card, I did read a couple of posts but that was attaining to a 135 watt power supply, any suggesting would be gratefully appreciated

Hi:

 

I am running an AMD HD 6450 in mine.

 

Works fine.

 

Has a power draw of less than 25W.

 

You should be able to easily find them in used but tested and working condition on eBay.

 

Make sure you get one that comes with the low profile mounting bracket.

 

The Dell-branded cards will work fine.  That's what I have in my 8000 Elite.

 

A newer and better card that should work would be the Nvidia GT 730--again the same information applies regarding where to purchase, and what to look for.

 

The GT 730 has a 38W power draw.

 

The GT 730 may require you to have the latest BIOS update installed (v01.14).
