hp 840 G8
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Good day,

Got 2 HP 840 G8 notebooks where the USB-C second display is not working.

user have a HP E27 G4 monitor and cannot get any display trough the USB-C connection. Tried VGA to USB-C and HDMI trough USB-C with a Adam device both dont work.

even the direct HDMI connection is not working.  Adam device is working as we tested other devices trough the Adams. the strange part is, when using the Adams device it picked up the display but at 640x640 display and you cannot change the display.

other User have direct HDMI connection and also not working, The laptop screen just flicker when plugged in.

both laptops have windows 10 with the latest drives and MS updates on. BIOS was updated also with no lock.

the intel display dont pick up any external display and device manager also.

Bios settings was check, thunderbolt is enabled on both.

another Display was use to test and working on both laptops. it is only the HP monitors that dont work.
