HP Active Pen does not write on HP Screen

My HP Active Pen (SPS: 846410-001) is compatible to my NoteBook:  HP Elite x2 1012 G2 Tablet.

The pen does respond to the pen features, however when writing on the surface of the Tablet, does not do detect or respond to any movement on the surface.

Please help me find a solution.

The Elitebook model does not appear to be listed in the Compatiblity Document.

I checked an internal document (checked six of the many models in this series); the Pen is marked as supported:

HP Active Pen with App Launch

Try / Consider installing the Driver for the pen.

• The stylus document is updated as new information becomes available
• Correct stylus not working? Check computer’s Software and Driver Page for a relevant firmware or pen driver update.
