HP Pavilion x360 - 14-cd0056tx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

From the last week, my HP Active Stylus has not worked on HP Pavilion x360 - 14-cd0056tx. The touch screen works, I've updated everything based on what the HP support assistant said, I have replaced the battery in the pen, and my computer still does not recognize the pen at all. So someone please tell me what to do to get my pen working on my computer again. Thank you

Hi! @hmazumder, Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Don't worry I'll try to help you out.

Have you tried changing the batteries on the HP active pen?

Let's continue with the troubleshooting steps now.

Try updating the BIOS on the PC to the latest version and check if it helps.

Update the BIOS using this link. Click Here

It's an active stylus (also known as a digital stylus) uses a digitizer built into the screen to allow communication between the touch screen and the pen. An active stylus might support many or all of the functions supported by a mouse, such as right-click, hover, and more. Many active stylus models can block stray marks from your hand resting on the screen or the sweep of your palm while writing so that the screen only registers marks made by the pen.

To activate the pen just press tip of the pen on the screen when you are using windows ink or other compatible programs.

Also, try installing HP Pen Control software no your PC and check if it helps.

Update the pen control software using this link. Click Here

If the issue still persists try updating the Windows on your PC and check if it helps.

Let me know if this helps!

Have a pleasant day ahead! 🙂
