I have an HP Chromebook and now the touch screen wont work. I have already tried powerwash and resetting and still nothing. Does anyone have any other suggestions. It is very hard to navigate with just the touchpad. If this can't be fixed does anyone know how well a wireless mouse works?

Welcome to HP forums, I see that you are getting touchscreen issue on your Chromebook.
Perform a hard reset
A hard or forced reset erases all information in the computer memory. This forces the system to clear and reestablish the software connections between the BIOS and the hardware.
A hard reset does not remove any local files or settings.
-
Press the power button
and refresh
button for five seconds. The computer turns off, and then turns on again.
-
If necessary, press power button again to turn on the laptop.
-
If the issue persists, continue to the next step.
Reset your Chromebook to factory settings
Refer this HP document for the steps to perform reset:- Click here
Let me know how it goes.

This is very common. If you look at reviews from websites that sell hp chromebooks with a touch screen, You will see a flood of complaints. The touchscreen not working seems to be a systemic problem that hp can't fix. After doing all the recommended steps, I sent my 2 week old chromebook into hp repairs. They have had it for 3 weeks.
