HP Display Control pop-up critical update

I bought this laptop and have been using it for about 2 months now.  However, I keep on getting a pop-up message from HP Display Control - Critical Update Needed to use HP Display Control.  I can't tell you how many times now that I have down loaded it for my HP Envy Laptop 17-ch2xx.  And it just keeps on coming back up.  I was about to find out it is HPDC_Service_4.9.25.0 

How do I stop this from popping up?  

Can someone please help it is driving me crazy

I see that you are facing an issue with your Laptop.

If the popup keeps re-appearing, you can create a system restore point first and then disable HP Display Control via the Task Manager or uninstall it via Control Panel. It is not needed and will not affect any of the functionality for your HP laptop.
