Product: Hp elitebook 8560p
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello, please help me out. I have a HP elitebook 8560p, Intel Core i5-2540m CPU @2.60GHz 2.60GHz,  8,00 GB Ram, WIN 10 x64, Intel HD 3000 

 

According to my research this laptop should have AMD Radeon HD 6470M but I can't find it anywhere. In the device manager I only find the Intel HD 3000 display driver. I've literally searched everywhere. Even in the bios menu on the system information tab there no AMD it only shows Intel. 

 

Everywhere I've searched I only find Intel HD 3000 display driver. 

Could it be that this laptop don't have a AMD Radeon HD 6470M chip or is it removed or somehow damaged. 

Please help me.

HP Elitebook 8560P is a series of many machines (many models/products) with many different options/configurations/combinations. AMD Radeon™ HD 6470M (discrete) is an option. Did you buy a right model ? Please check:

Thank you for replying. I'm not sure which model I have. I bought this laptop from some one last week. It's a second hand one. 

But are you saying that it could be either the

  • Model with discrete graphics

Or

  • Model with integrated graphics? 

 

Because based on your reply I now think that I have the model with integrated graphics only.

Or is there any way to install a graphic card to this laptop in order to play high quality games?
