My laptop has the following detail:
Product name:HP ENVY 15 Notebook PC
Model: 15-K203TX
Product number:K8U29PA#ACJ
BIOS:F.36-02/02/2015
Keyboard revision:78.21
Total memory:8.00 GB
Processor name:Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-5500U CPU @ 2.40GHz
It comes with a hybrid video card, one is Intel HD 5500 and other is NVIDIA GeForce GTX 850M
Is this a MUX-ed or MUX-less system?
[ The MUX-ed system is one in which both GPUs are connected to the display via multiplexer.
The MUX-less system is one in which the integrated GPU is always connected to the display, and the discrete GPU is used solely for rendering. ]

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.
To get the answer to this question, all HP laptops are mux less systems.
However, our GPU's are usually discrete and system managed.
NOTE: HP does not recommend upgrading or downgrading hardware parts or software that is bundled with the product as It may affect the manufacturer's warranty and performance, however, you could change the configuration at your own discretion.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
