Well this isn't exactly asking for solution. Ever since I've connected usb-c port to HDMI screen using a third party connector, I've been getting constant USB Device error messages with USB connection and dis-connection sounds pinging every 5-8 seconds.
I noticed that there were other problems like this in this forum dated 2017 and also in 2020. Those forum posts were locked, so I'm posting a separate post for others who need help.
I found that by disabling USB Root Hub 3.0 from device manager will by-pass this problem. The Cable will still work with display, but annoying connections/disconnection sounds will disappear and device error messages will no longer appear. See attached image.

Thank you for taking the time to read and respond to this post which wasn't really asking for help.
BIOS, drivers were all up-to-date before I had to see what was going on.
Again, thanks you and I welcome the generic blanket checklist approach to support. You did forget to add other steps, such as "did you turn it off and on again, unplug and replug the cable, did you buy our proprietary accessories? ".
kind regards
