My HP ENVY X360 Laptop's hinge seems to have come loose. The computer was not damaged, dropped, etc in anyway and it seems to have happened from normal wear and tear of opening the laptop and adjusting the screen. The damage to the hinge seems to be moderately affecting the display. The display is periodically glitching, sometimes displaying a blank screen when trying to turn on the computer or cutting out periodically.

What can I do to fix this? The computer is about 1.5 years old.

Best,

Ashley

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help,
I understand your HP notebook screen is separating from the unit, in order to fix this issue your computer needs to be repaired.

As we have limited support boundaries in the support community as of now. I would request you to reach out to our Support and our Support Engineers should be able to check the available service options in order to diagnose the computer physically.  HP Support can be reached by clicking on the following link: https://www.hp.com/us-en/contact-hp/ww-phone-assist.html

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
