I was helped out by a HP customer sales rep through HP Chat to find a docking station that would be compatible with my laptop. Was told that the HP Elite USB-C docking station would work. However when I received it, I plugged everything in and connected it to my laptop through the USB-C port. The laptop did not recognize the docking station and the light was blinking meaning it was still on stand by. I plugged in the docking station to another laptop just to see if it was in good working order and the other laptop recognized it and started to install the drivers. Now, I'm just stuck with this paperweight and if I cannot get it to work with my laptop and I will look into returning it.
