Hi everybody,

 

got an Elite X2 G8. I like the notebook/tablet hybrid alot, only the screen seems very poor. On a very right angle looking to the screen it's very bright. But on only a slight angle it gets darker a lot quicker, to the point that when I use it as a tablet (so the screen is half an armslength away), there are always darker patches on the screen, either on one side or if I tilt it, they move to the other side.

It's like the HP secure view thing is always on. Also, when switching HP secure view on or off, it barely makes a different. Screen gets a bit darker whenever I do, but that is pretty much it. You can still see as much from an angle of where somebody would be sitting next to you.

Is there anything I can do to improve this, or is the Elite's X2 2-in-1's screen just of very very poor quality?
