Hi,
I have a HP EliteBook 850 G5 running Windows 10 (latest release and up to date) and just tried to install:
Intel Video Driver and Control Panel Driver
27.20.100.9416 Rev.W
However when I start the installer I get the error:
---------------------------
Error
---------------------------
This operating system is not supported.
---------------------------
OK
---------------------------
Anybody a idea what is causing that? Whats the latest official HP driver if not the one from the offical HP Website?
If the answer is helpful mark it with Kudos by clicking on the kudos button. If your problem is solved then mark it as solved. Thanks 🙂

Hi:
Unfortunately, I wouldn't know why that is happening, but if your notebook only has the onboard Intel graphics, you should be able to manually install the latest graphics driver directly from Intel's website.
See this discussion for how to do that...

Hello
I tried with 840 G5 just reinstalled using HP Sure recove to 1903 , then updated via windows update to 20H2.
I have exactly the same message. something is wrong with sp115295.exe
people managing softpaq should be adviced by someone having HP internal contact.

There is also one other thing you can try when the HP driver doesn't work.
Go to the device manager, click to expand the Display Adapters device manager category
Click on the Intel HD graphics adapter listed there.
Click on the driver tab. Click on Update Driver.
Select the Browse my computer for driver software option, and then at the bottom of that window, select the Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer.
Click on Have Disk, and browse to the unzipped sp115295 graphics driver folder>Graphics>iigd_dch (setup information file), click Next, and the driver should install. The location of the HP folder will be in C:\SWSetup\sp115295.
Be patient, as it can take a few minutes for the driver to completely install.
When the installation is finished, restart the PC.
To update the Intel HDMI audio driver to the latest version, go to the device manager, click to expand the Sound, video and game controllers device manager category.
Click on the Intel HD audio device listed there. Click on the driver tab. Click on Update driver.
Select the Browse my computer for driver software option, and browse to the C:\SWSetup\sp115295 main folder.
Make sure the Include subfolders box is checked, and the driver will install.
Then restart the PC.
