Elitebook 745 G5
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I got this new elitebook 745 G5 from work. I tried using an existing Toshiba thunderbolt port replicator, that didn't work.

Then I bought HDMI to Displayport adapter for the second monitor and nothing is being displayed. One monitor is hooked up to USB C and that's the only one working.

How do I make laptop recognize second monitor?

I would love to know the answer to this as well. I have the same laptop for work. However, I also received a HP USB-C Dock G4. I had two monitors hooked up with display ports to the dock. After almost a year (or maybe a year), the computer only displays one monitor. Worked with the helpdesk at work and they reached out to HP who sent me a new dock. Apparently that was not the problem since it still doesn't work. This is extremely frustrating when I need two additional monitors because the laptop screen is too small to do any real work for me.
