HP EliteBook 630 13.3 inch G10 Notebook PC (735X5AV)

I have an HP Elitebook 630 G10 connected to a KVM w4K Switch with a USB cable. The switch connects to my two external screens, mouse and keyboard. The mouse and keyboard work but the laptop will not detect or connect to the monitors. I've tried restarting, checking the cables, unplugging and running diagnostics. when I try the port on a second computer, a Lenovo, all functions work. I have plugged the monitor directly the laptop using the HDMI port and that does work for one screen. Am I using the wrong type of USB cable or do I need an adapter? Could you please be as specific as possible in describing what type of product is needed if I need to purchase a different cable or an adapter. Thank you.

It seems the issue is with the USB connection from the HP EliteBook 630 G10 to the KVM switch, as the laptop works with a direct HDMI connection. Make you are using a USB-C cable that supports video output (DisplayPort Alt Mode). If your laptop’s USB-C port does not support video output, consider using an HDMI splitter or a USB-C to HDMI adapter to connect to multiple monitors.
