HP ENVY x360 15.6 inch 2-in-1 Laptop PC 15-eu0000 (267R8AV)

I have just went on a 4 hr bus journey with my laptop in my suitcase. The white light on the side says it’s charging but when I press the power button nothing happens, not even the light that comes on next to it. When I open my laptop the caps lock light comes on but then goes off. I have tried a hard factory reset but that didn’t work, I have also tried multiple chargers, plugs and HDMIs to see if it’s the screen that’s the problem. What do I do?

Did you c heck to see if the laptop was HOT when you took it out of the suitcase? Asking because modern laptops do not power off when you shut them down; instead, they go into a hybrid sleep mode which uses power, drains the battery but also generates heat.  Folks putting them in backpacks have reported the laptops overheating to the point that they have burned out.

Your best bet at present is to take this to a local laptop repair shop to see what they can do to get it starting again.

It wasn’t hot, I had shut it down the night before not on sleep mode

You said you shut it down -- but unless you have gone into Control Panel (not Settings) and configured the options to actually Shut Down the PC on powering off, even though you press the power button, it still will not power off.
