HP Envy Webcam Color Correction Issues

The camera app makes everything look purple.  I cannot find any way to adjust the colour settings.  A previous user had asked the same question and was directed to purchase other software.  The camera app used to work just fine so why is everything purple now??  How do I adjust the colour settings?

I reviewed your post and I understand that you want to know how to change the color settings in the camera app.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

I would like to inform you that there are no options in the Windows camera app to change the color settings.

NOTE: While some degree of purple tint may be present under low light conditions, turning off the webcam IR lights will reduce and in certain cases eliminate the purple tint.

I recommend you test the webcam using the YouCam software and check.
