I bought HP Envy X360 Convertible for my daughter to be used in her school back in September 2020.

It is vey good laptop and will taken care but suddenly right hinge popped up.

Seems caused by loosen screw.

Assistance is greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Hi Bal10A,

I have a 7/21/22 Post with the same hinge issue - I bought an Envy Convertible for my daughter in Oct 2020. There appears to be numerous Posts regarding hinge issues so HP must be aware of this problem.

I can only speak for myself - I received a Private Message from HP Support offering to help and referring me to a specific support group for hardware issues; however, I did not have a good experience with HP Support.

Ultimately, I'm paying $250 for a local business to fix my daughter's hinge.

When this is resolved, would you be willing to update this Post with your HP Customer Service experience?

I wish you the best, and hope your experience with HP Support is better than mine    😁

I'm fanatics HP laptop users and did not encounter hinge issue from previous model since then.

Tried to search in the internet and looks common issue in HP Envy X360.

Also, did not extend warranty as I believed HP laptop will long last.

Hopefully, HP will consider something on this and unfortunately this hinge issue occurred after warranty expired.
