I have previously owned two HP Envy Touch smart 15inch notebooks ( Model 15-j038TX ) in the past and had the same problem occurred with both.

 

My current HP notebook will be my last HP ENVY x360 - 15-bq100au . Again same issue . I have been quoted $350 AUD to repair. 

 

Based on my experiences I will not be recommending HP notebooks to colleagues or friends.
