Product: HP Envy x360
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have my HP Envy hooked up to a universal docking station so I can use a desktop monitor, keyboard and mouse.  Can I setup up the computer so when I close the laptop, the computer stays active so I can continue to use the desktop accessories?

I don't know what is your HP Envy x360 but I know for sure it does not have docking port therefore you have to use USB dock.

 

1. Yes, nearly all USB docking stations do have additional ports which allow you to connect to other devices/peripherals.

2. Yes, you can setup to use machine when the lid is closed BUT you have to open the lid when turning ON machine.
