HP ENVY x360 m6 Convertible (product number W2K44UA#ABA): Unable to connect multiple monitors.
I've tried using a USB C to HDMI cable direct to the 2nd monitor, no signal.
Purchased HiearCool USB Type-C Hub Pro with USB C charger, no signal on monitors when plugging into hub. However, the mouse and USB (data files) are detected.
Given the limited ports on the HP ENVY, I'm not sure what over options to try. The only reason I purchased this laptop was for the USB C port that could extend the port availability.
Is there a USB C driver update for visual output support that needs to be updated? HELP

This is the HP envy multi monitor solution! USB to hdmi converter. It works! After multiples attempts to get USB C to support 3rd monitor, used the USB to HDMI adapter and magic! Now, I have the laptop monitor (1), 2nd monitor with HDMI and 3rd with USB to HDMI adaptor.

Will this work with an HP 14-CF1015CL Laptop (I purchased about a year ago)? Or if not, is there a solution to get 3 monitors (laptop + 2 external) on that one? Or is the display adapter limited to 2? Thank you!

@KFilcik, Welcome to HP Support Community!
Yes, it will work with your HP 14-CF1015CL Laptop as per product specifications. Refer to the Product Specifications document for more info. Also, you can learn about the working of USB type-c from this document HP PCs, Tablets and Accessories - Using USB Type-C to Transfer Power and Data.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

Unfortunately, this adapter requires "Alt Mode" on the USB-c port to support a monitor. The 14-cf1015cl does not support Alt mode so this does not work. Can you advise if there might be another adapter that would work?
Thanks.
