HP ENVY x360 Laptop - 13-ay0007ca

Hi, my laptop is 5 months old. Closed is and the hinge broke, popping out a small screw that cracked the screen. Does anyone know if this is covered under warranty? I know cracked screens are usually not but this was caused by a defective hinge. Just wondering. Thanks everyone

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help,
I understand your HP notebook screen is broken and the casing is separating from the unit, in order to fix this issue your computer needs to be repaired. As we have limited support boundaries in the support community as of now.

I would request you to reach out to our Support and our Support Engineers should be able to check the available service options in order to diagnose the computer physically.  HP Support can be reached by clicking on the following link: www.hp.com/contacthp/

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
