HP Envy x360 15" Broken Hinge

I was opening the cover on my Laptop a couple of weeks ago and the right hinge just fell apart.  After doing a little research I see that this has been on ongoing problem with HP.  I purchased the laptop in October of 2021, so I am being told that there is nothing that can be done since it is out of Warranty.  Is anyone having the same issue and what can I do.  They want $320.00 to replace the screen at the store where it was purchased.

I understand you are facing a hardware issue with your HP ENVY X360 Convertible Laptop PC 15m-Ed1023dx. Not to worry I will help you to get a resolution to resolve the issue.
